Foodiepink’s TOP 10 Must-Go Cafés in Seoul

I love Seoul for its café culture. It no longer boils down to the best cuppa, for me at least, but the story and character of a café that reveals what its owner may be. With dedicated café streets and countless awesome cafés in this dynamic metropolitan that retains its unique culture, I have put together my very first TOP 10 list of cafés that is worthy of your visit in Seoul – and yes, they are in order of ranking (purely to save you certain troubles) .

1) Hoho Myoll Café

Though a little out of the way, this café is by far the most impressive and most memorable one I’ve ever been to – both in terms of visual feast and tastebuds appeal.

2) Café Oui

A 3-storey café with a full porch at the front, this café was oozing with coziness. It’s almost walking into a nursery room – for adults that is. The food here was just as excellent and comforting.

4) “Coffee-drinking Cat” Café

First up, this has the best background and perfect lighting for your flawless selfie(s). Next, their waffles were extremely delicious, accompanied by creative beverages that are just as delicious.

7) Yeon Traveler’s Hangout

Housed within a Hanok (traditional Korean house), this café is the epitome of modernity meets tradition. I came to know that this cosy space existed since 8 years ago, and yet the decor still exudes cosiness. In the main dining area, there’s even a fish tank sitting below the cashier. Really cool place to hangout at!

63-20, Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu

8) Coco Bruni

I personally prefer the tarts here to Deux Crèmes. I assure that you’ll get some high from the fluffy and lights clouds of aerated foam.
