Instead of walking along Garosu-gil (a straight road), we went into the small lanes linking from the main road and chanced upon another world. A flower and cake shop, Bloom & Goute was tucked away in a secluded corner and it’s unsurprising that many people would miss it. In fact, if you asked me for directions, I wouldn’t be able to recall. However, it really is a hidden gem that is lost amongst the cafes that are more prominently located.
Desserts and more desserts!
Potted plants were arranged by random along the window panes. A beautiful mess.
White-washed brick walls!
An inviting entrance.
A flower shop on the ground floor and the cafe on the basement and mezzanine.
Basement of the cafe – surprisingly spacious and I fell straight in love with the rustic charms and wild flowers.
Perfect-looking cakes which we had a hard time choosing from!
Strawberry Cheesecake (5,500won/$6.50) – It was a very dense cake that was thankfully not too sweet. If you prefer something lighter and fresher, you can probable go for the chiffons instead!
Chamomile Tea (7,000won/$8.20)
Here is the address of the café! Happy hunting and I promise you’ll be blown away!
